The short version: we only collect what you send us, we use it to respond to you and do your survey work, and we don't sell it to anyone.
What We Collect
When you use the contact form on this site, we receive what you type into it: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the project type you select, your message, and any optional property details you add. The form is delivered to our email inbox by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that processes your submission on our behalf to get it to us; we do not use it to build profiles of you.
If you call, email, or book a consultation instead, we receive whatever contact information you share the same way any business does. Consultation booking runs on Microsoft Bookings, which handles that scheduling underMicrosoft's privacy statement.
How We Use and Share It
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes, and perform the surveying or engineering work you hire us for. We do not sell your information. We share it in two limited ways: as part of doing the work itself (for example, filing a plat with a county office, or coordinating with a soil scientist on your project) and with the service providers named on this page that process website data for us (form delivery, hosting, analytics). We may also disclose information when required by law.
Hosting, Cookies, and Third-Party Services
This site is served by Netlify, our hosting provider, which like any web host receives standard server-log data (such as your IP address and the pages requested) in the course of delivering the site. The map on our contact page is embedded from Google Maps, and loading it is subject toGoogle's privacy policy. We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site. It sets cookies and collects device and browser information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the pages you visit, under Google’s privacy policy linked above. We use this data only in aggregate to improve the site; we do not use it to identify you personally or for advertising.
How Long We Keep It
We keep inquiry and project records for as long as we have a business or legal need for them. Survey records in particular are often kept long-term, because a boundary question can resurface decades later and the original record is frequently the best evidence of what was found and set. If you want information you sent us corrected or deleted, contact us using the details below and we will honor the request wherever a legal or professional record-keeping obligation does not require us to keep it.
